APA Vs MLA
MLA and APA are different but similar in many ways..
They are the same that they both use in-text citations to give credit to those whom work they have read in order to back up their argument. They both use a form of documenting the persons last name. An example is also through the works cited how they both are last name listed first. Any info that a person publishes as their own does not need to be cited with both MLA and APA. Also, any info that isnt a individual's own work MUST be cited for both APA and MLA.
They are different because APA uses in-text citation with Last name, year published, while MLA uses Last name, page number. Next, APA uses a references page at the end, while MLA uses a 'Works Cited' page at the end. APA also uses last name, first name first initial (ex: Cook, C) on the other hand, MLA uses last name, first name. (ex: Cook, Ciarra)
