1/28/15.....

I have emailed the three participants that I am planning to interview, hopefully they will be getting back to me soon! Since I have not yet spoken to them I will be talking about what I will ask during the interview! I currently work a daycare for children with many different types of disabilities & I interact with nurses on a daily basis, they have to do assessments daily in every child throughout the day. These assessments require a census sheet to be filled out thats includes the childs Heart rate, temp, & oxygen levels. They also get documented based on their behavior and how they have reached their goals for the day. I am interviewing a nurse that I work with because I plan on being a nurse and writing a patients daily activities and medicine logs will more than likely need to be documented. I have recently taken a interest in occupational therapy so i have decided to switch my major to exercise science and when I graduate i will need to go and obtain my masters for OT at Spalding University, so I have emailed a instructor for the exercise science department and he has agreed to have a email interview with me soon. I plan on asking him on the daily documentation of patients health and physical capabilities! Lastly, I plan to linterview my English 101 teacher, Mrs.Sara Alvarez, i chose to interview her because I feel as if she has a great insight on writing effectively about different subjects and genres.

After reading what I need to do I am thinking about people that I could possibly interview for my Assignment one! I am a nursing major, therefore I am considering an upper level student who has already written the major essay that all lower level nursing students have to write! Next, I am looking into interviewing my English 101 instructor, Mrs. Sara Alvarez! I am thinking about her because she is a graduate student here at Uofl and i feel as if she could greatly help me! Lastly, maybe looking into someone in the writing center people!

My Final Ethnography- English 101
When I started English 101 I won't lie, I became extremely intimidated to the amount of work we had to do with all the papers and writing and blog post! When I finished my final ethnography I felt proud of myself for working so hard on a paper and receiving an A! The theme of my paper was to argue and inform! To inform the reader of the past ofPortland and to relate others to the community! Then, I was to argue how Portland was leading towards gentrification.
